Vincent stared at Rinoa oddly.
"I suppose I was just a little bit behind, probably thinking." Looking at Rinoa's obviously off-balance canter and slurred speech, an idea popped into his mind.
"Zell, Do you think it would be okay if we leave Rinoa at your apartment foor the night? It may seem a bit inappropriate but you both look ready to pass out and I think it would be safer if we let you both just sleep now. Any longer awake, and you are going to have a massive hangover, worse than the one you would have from just consuming alchohol." Vincent knew that it would have seemed inappropriate if either Zell or Rinoa were in their right mind but both of them were basically asleep on their feet, ready to pass out at any second. It would also be much safer to leave Rinoa here to sleep off the effects of her drinking. A slight smile formed on his lips.
"Besides, when you both get up tomorrow, you can get each other through your hangovers." ;D

"Jes' wipe yer feet... when you leave..." Zell slurred, barely hanging off of Squall shoulder. He submitting to plunged his hind quarters to the floor, only about a foot away from Rinoa. He lazily looked up at her. "Oh, hellooooo there. Yer all goin' up ta my room, ain'tcha?" Squall watched the wacky drunk pair thoughtfully, thinking of all the preparation possible to arrange in Zell's pig sty of an apartment. Some lined wastebaskets as buckets, some cold compress, a fridge full of water and devoid of MORE alcohol (OOC: and I don't know much of the hangover remedies, but you all can educate me on that later), along with the absence of heavy metal and sharp objects, as well as any medications, in case Zell tried a large dose of migraine pills, or encouraged Rinoa to take one too many.
Squall had to smirk at the two pleasantly tipsy people sitting on the floor. What a night. And they were still in a good mood, albiet nearly oblivious as to what they were currently doing. The dark man made a note not to leave Rinoa's car keys within the vicinity. He was sure no one would try to highjack the car in this part of the neighborhood (at least, not around this time of the season) and he had no wish to leave them the option of driving around, whether they would think of it or not. And one more thing: just to make sure there was no trouble, Squall knew where the key to the bedroom was. He'd lock Zell up for assurance, like not waking Rinoa in his sleep walking or something (sometimes sleep sparring) and return early enough in the morning to let him out for an uneasy breakfast attempt.

"Well, since that matter is settled, I suppose Squall and i would do well in making sure both of you are put safely to bed....and far from each other, before we take our leave." Tossing the various objects Squall had deemed unsafe to be around the two, Vincent threw the items into a discarded red backpack he had found on the floor. Grabbing the alchohol Squall had removed from the refridgerator, he also added tht to his hodgepodge of items Rinoa and Sell were not to come in contact with.
Looking toward the two on the floor, watching them sway slightly while giggling, Vincent couldn't help but smile at them.
Pulling a digital camera out of an inner cloak pocket, an action that to most would seem uncharacteristic for him, and took Zell and Rinoa's picture while they rolled along the floor like they were having the time of their lives. Taking a quick glance over his shoulder, Vincent spun and snapped a quick picture of the stoic, leather clad man before he could realize that he too was smiling slightly. Vincent had learned one thing while he slept all those years. He had learned that he must find ways to preserve his memories. Then, he had only his brain to preserve them with, a source that was not nearly reliable and untouchable as he wished it were. Soon after meeting Yuffie, she had figured out that not knowing his past, being unable to remember, bothered him greatly, so she had taken it upon herself to buy him a camera to preserve his memories with.
Chuckling softly as he looked at the candid photo of Squall in the little view screen of his camera, he couldn't help but notice their many similarities. It almost made him wonder if they were in fact relted, but that would be impossible, unless Hojo had done something to the young man that he was currently unaware of, but that was immensily unlikely...or so he hoped.

Squall turned sour and almost growled. "You are going to erase that, aren't you?" He didn't like the idea of having a photo taken of himself, especially if it was just a memory about Zell's first druken rampage. Although it annoyed him, he wondered a little why anyone would bother.
Zell looked up languidly from the floor. "Cooooool, camerazzzzzz..." He flopped onto the carpeted floor. he smiled up regardless and gave a peace sign. "Gheooo ahead! I'll thake anutha pose." He waited unblinkingly, trying hard to stay awake.

"Erase it? Why would I do that? We are making memories."
Vincent answered seriously, but managed to still keep his smile intact, mostly due to the fact that Zell just ammused him to no end.
"Thanks, it was a present from Yuffie." He paused for a moment, thinking about how that must sound, but shrugged it off.
"Alright Zell, I am going to take another. When you are sobered up I am going to show you these and you are going to laugh at yourself." Before Zell could answer, Vincent snapped the picture of him looking like he had spent way too much time at Woodstock reinactments. Vincent shook his head, laughing softly at Zell's silliness.
Even if they eventually left him, he would at least have the pictures he had taken to remember them by. Already, he had outlived most of the friends he remembered from his past. He knew deep in his heart that he would watch as these people, who he had come to think of as his friends, died, watch as they aged and started families of their own. And as he watched them change and share their lives with others, he would remain the same, never changing from the way he had looked when he had died. It was the curse of immortality.
As he knew they eventually would, when they died and he was left alone once more, he would look back at all the pictures he had taken and think fondly on those memories. They would keep him going, keep him sane until he found another group to latch onto.
((OOC: Sorry about the Loveless tidbit.....In the anime show Loveless, the main character Ritsuka carries a camera and when he meets someone he likes*friend way or other!* he takes pics with them and says "they are making memories" because his brother was killed and he forgot his past, and as his mom says 'the real ritsuka went away, leaving you behind in its place.' but the mother is abusive and no one knows if he truly has 2 personalities or has just changed due to the horrid death of his older brother. So that is where that reference came from ;D ))
