A train pulled into Timber, not a a train one would typically take or even see for business or travel. Any citizen of Timber would recognize it as the headquarters of the Forest Owls resistance faction. The train opened and a young woman of average height with flowing black hair strode out of the train. Natural brown highlights shown among the black in the sun despite the overcast sky. She paused in a clearing and cupped her hands around her mouth. "Everyone, listen up! I'm Rinoa, de facto leader and mascot of the Timber Owls! We always welcome new members. We need dedicated people who can plan and have fun." She paused, then gave them a brilliant smile, a real one. Rinoa was never one to pretend. "We don't ask you to be powerful, just to give us your best. We alone stand against the theiving Galbadians who steal the rights of Timber! Who among you will fight with us for your rights?!" Rinoa glanced around searching for her right and left hands Zone and Watts. She wasn't the "official" leader, but acted as one. Recruiting was their primary goal before formulating plans for the time being.

The people of Timber were always willing to do whatver they could to aid Rinoa and the Timber Owls without becoming real members. Rinoa frowned, still no new members. What on earth was she supposed to do now? She titled her head, hands on hips, debating what to do next as she reboarded the train to her private chamber. Though almost completely pink, the room was tastefully done. It was a soft pink, not excriciantingly bright pink that many girls preferred. Sighing, arms pressed on the top of her head, hands on her elbows, and she forgot that she had left her part border collie, part german sheperd in the room by himself. Upon entering, she was greeted by cheerful barks and jumping from Angelo. Giggling, she crouched down to pet her.
Rinoa smiled, remembering why she decided to name her Angelo even though it was a boy's name. It had been appropriate at the time, since she had though little of gender, only seeing an adorable little angel of puppy to be her compainion in and out of battle. A stack of Pet Pals magazines sat in the corner, her main source for teaching her loyal little friend.
Rinoa stood up and flopped onto her bed followed closely by Angelo.
"What do you think I should do now?" she said absently while petting Angelo. "I think it's time to move outside our turf, for help. I better stay away from the major Galbadian territories and of course Caraway." She almost glared at the ceiling at the thought of her "father". Sitting up, she pulled out a map. She would have the better luck with either Trabia or Balamb Garden. Clutching her necklace, Rinoa concluded Balamb would be her first stop since it was closer. She cheered up. It was time for travel...and meeting new people, one of her favorite things to do.
Something else occured to the blue and black clad angel. Laying on her stomach, she reached under her bed. She pulled out the original sheet music of "Eyes On Me", written by her own Mother, Julia Heartilly. Curiously brown eyes squinted in thought, wondering about what was written at the end of the song. Maybe she should try searching for that person, but there wasn't even a last name to work off of. Another time perhaps.
It read "For Laguna"
(OOC:On the move! Sorry, i'm new to role-playing and trying to keep her in-character. I did a lot of research since it's been so long since i've played the game.)
